BRITISH PRIME MINISTER BORIS JOHNSON ADMITTED TO INTENSIVE CARE AS COVID-19 SYMPTOMS DETERIORATED

On March 28, 2020, it was reported the Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Health Secretary Matt Hancock all tested positive of the deadly COVID-19.

10 days after testing positive, he has continuously suffered persistent symptoms including a cough and a high temperature.

"Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab who is the first Secretary of state will deputise for Mr. Johnson where necessary" the Prime Minister stated.

Information reaching Wentitrel News states the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been admitted to intensive care unit at the St Thomas' Hospital in London after his coronavirus symptoms deteriorated.


It is understood the Prime minister, Mr Johson was admitted to hospital on March 5th.

The office of the Prime minister said after admission his condition worsened and on the advice of his medical team, was moved to the hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU), which is reserved for patients who are seriously ill.


On March 28, 2020, it was reported the Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Health Secretary Matt Hancock all tested positive of the deadly COVID-19.


Mr. Boris Johnson in a video posted on his official Twitter page said, he was tested on the advice of England’s chief medical officer after showing “mild symptoms” involving a high temperature and a persistent cough and will now be self-isolating.


The Prime Minister also added that he remains in charge of the UK’s response to the coronavirus outbreak. Mr Boris will continue to lead the government via video-conference calls.


But 10 days after testing positive, he has continuously suffered persistent symptoms including a cough and a high temperature.

The prime minister is currently receiving excellent care and thanks all NHS staff for their dedication and hard work


It is also understood, his 32-year-old pregnant future wife, Carrie Symonds is also suffering with symptoms of the deadly COVID-19.
