CORONAVIRUS: PASSPORT SERVICES SUSPENDED NATIONWIDE OVER CORONAVIRUS SCARE

• All PACs will remain closed for the next two (2) weeks or until such a time that the situation would be sufficiently safe for opening.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Ministry (MFA & RI) yesterday suspended with immediate effect passport services at all Passport Application Centers (PACs) across the country.

In the statement released by the MFA & RI, “applicants will not be admitted for vetting and capture procedures and also for collection of processed passports.”

This decision is to keep up with Government's directives to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Ministry stated.

“All PACs will remain closed for the next two (2) weeks or until such a time that the situation would be sufficiently safe for opening,” the statement read.
